Conversation 5: Showing Up Anyway: Because Life Isn’t Waiting

Hello, my Blossomers!  So… what are we supposed to do when life completely blindsides us? (Serious question. Because if anybody has the handbook, please pass it over.) This year, life threw me into a storm I wasn’t ready for — losing my mom in February changed everything. And when I say everything, I mean everything. The world didn’t just feel different — I felt different. Broken. Shaky. Some nights, unslept. Some days, just… blank. And somehow, in the middle of that wreckage, I’m still supposed to be a mom. I am still supposed to get up. Still supposed to live. Let’s face it, the bills won’t stop and last time I looked (and googled) around, ain’t too many people giving large sums of money for you to grief properly.   But how though? How are we supposed to “just keep going” when it feels like every step forward hurts? How are we supposed to inspire our kids when we’re sitting there wondering if we even believe the pep talks ourselves? How do you show up for life when you don’t...

Conversation 4: Confidence, Please!!! I’m Not Asking for Permission to Be Great.

* Me being extra: Cue the dramatic music, a sassy strut, and a few hair flips… My Blossomer's!! Let’s go ahead and get this out the way—somebody’s opinion of you isn’t paying your bills, isn’t putting gas in your car, and definitely ain’t laying up in your bed at night (unless your letting ‘em, but hey that’s a different convo, on another day, on my other page). So why do their voices get VIP access to your confidence? Confidence Isn’t a Volume Thing — It’s a Knowing Thing Confidence doesn’t mean you have to be the loudest in the room. It means being unshakably sure of who you are, even when you’re silent. Even when you’re healing. Even when you’re still figuring it out. And self-assurance? (Which we don’t talk about this often.) That’s when you know—deep down—you’ll be good no matter what. Period.   “You don’t need permission to be powerful. You just need to remember you already are.”   Why We’re Done with Struggle-as-a-Personality We live in a world obsesse...

Conversation 3: The 7-Step Morning Face Routine: Glowing Up or Just Glowing Nowhere?

Hey, my Blossomer's! Let’s talk about it.  The sacred, mysterious, possibly overhyped 7-step morning skincare routine. So, there I was this morning—standing in the bathroom mirror, channeling my inner skincare guru, slathering layer after layer of promise and hope onto my face like I had nothing but time, money, and zero bills. And I had to ask myself: “Am I evolving… or am I just over-exfoliating?” You know the one: Cleanse, tone, serum, eye cream, moisturizer, SPF, spritz rosewater, and affirm your life choices as you pat your face dry with a towel that (hopefully) doesn’t smell like last week’s laundry. It’s marketed as self-care, luxury, the golden ticket to your “that girl” era. But let’s be honest—when your alarm goes off at 6:30 a.m. and your face is still halfway in the pillow, does anyone actually want to do seven skin-care things to their face? Welcome to the world of the 7-step morning face routine, where your skin might be glowing, but your bank account is scream...

Conversation 2: When Life Gives You Lemons… Throw Them Back and Ask for Coffee

Hey, my fellow Blossomers! Let's have the BIG conversation—I really thought being an adult would feel a lot more… glamorous? You know, like Pinterest boards and morning routines and passive income while sipping iced matcha or mocktails laid on an exotic beach in the sun. Turns out, adulthood is more like: “Why is my Wi-Fi acting up again and did I really just eat cereal for dinner three nights in a row?” There’s this constant push to be “better”—more productive, more peaceful, more financially secure, more moisturized. And yeah, I’m working on it. But can I be honest? Some days, growth looks like doing one thing on my to-do list and then watching six episodes of a show I already know the ending too. Like today, for example:   I woke up at 6 a.m. for a meeting that was pushed back to 8. Okay, cool. In my mind, that meant more time to get myself together—write my gratitude, read my Bible, say my prayers. Productive, intentional, grown-up stuff. A few minutes before 8, ...

Conversation 1: Overcoming Self

Hey, my fellow Blossomers! Life is constantly changing at rapid speeds, going in different directions, one minute you're up, one minute you're, and the next you're banging your head against the wall, you can’t even believe it’s you are experiencing some of these situations. You ask yourself, how, and what did I do to get here? Where did I go wrong? 😒Let me be frank, you probably have it better than most. But if you still feel like you’re in a position to where you think it's impossible to get out of and you feel like everything is falling apart, sit back and let’s reflect on how we can change that mindset and regain control of you and your life. Let’s start with me first, last year was tough! I lost my office job due to being so sick that I was in the emergency room at least 2-3 times a week, this happened in April 2024. I was scheduled to have surgery in May, but my mom was having surgery in May as well. So, I rescheduled my procedure, so I could be avai...

Welcome to MizzLadir3d Blossoming

Hello, my fellow Blossomer’s! welcome to our space where we grow, develop, and upgrade our mindsets and lifestyle. Before I get too far, let me introduce myself, my name is Malissa a/k/a mizzladir3d. I am a mom, entrepreneur, and newly personal development enthusiast. So, I decided to take my passion for writing and growth to create a community where we take back control and build the lives that we’re destined to live, which is not just settling and accepting what other’s want give us. We are valuable and worthy of all that we desire and more. We’re focusing on ourselves here, the goals and dream lifestyle that is closer than we think.      I’m opening myself up to share my goals, wild experiences, and my victories, not forgetting the lessons I have learned along the way. I’m not fully where I want to be but I’m setting myself up with the help of God to achieve above and beyond any and all things I could ever dream of. That is one of God’s promise...
